Muthoot Group is hiring Business Development Officer at Kolkata Location.

Walk-in Interviews from Monday & Tuesday ( 18 & 19 March 2019) between 10 to 4 PM at the below mentioned address :

Business Development Officers (Gold Loan)

  • Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with Business Development Manager to achieve revenue goals.
  • Analyze the current and past budgets, expenses, sales, revenues and product deficiencies in order to provide recommendations for business growth and problem resolution.
  • Research the market for identifying new business opportunities.
  • Explain prospective clients about the advantages of the products or services offered and follow up with them in order to close the business deals.
  • Develop business proposals for new and existing customers.
  • Develop creative strategies to retain the clients including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan.
  • Develop strong customer relationships in order to generate high volume of prospective clients.
  • Manage customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
  • Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization.
  • Determine cross-selling opportunities among different offices.

Business Development Officers (Mutual Fund)

  • Should work under the guidance and support of the respective MFIN Regional Office to which you are attached, report there for duty before 9.00 A.M and record the attendance in time every day.
  • Execute sales activities as directed by his Reporting Authority/ Corporate Office/ Controlling Office/ and assess business prospects with support of MFIN team.
  • Create potential customer directory. Should visit prospective customers/ MFIN RO/Branches within their respective areas on a regular basis.
  • Should achieve the business targets allotted to him from time to time.
  • Should not collect any amounts in cash from any of the clients/ potential clients for any purposes. You are prohibited from collecting any amounts towards any payments payable to the Company from clients or any persons for and on behalf of the Company.
  • All databases and lead contacts should be collected from the respective MFIN branches for follow up.
  • Arrange for distribution of , pamphlets, branch visiting cards, etc., to create awareness about the branch & its new services. Assistance from CCEs can be taken wherever required.
  • Identify & tap potential customers for distribution of Mutual Fund & Demat Accounts and other products specifically entrusted to him from time to time.
  • Participate in all sales campaign as and when required.
  • WMS Manager should have his itinerary approved, a week before, from the Reporting Officer.
  • Maintain MIS reports of all promotional sales activities and provide feedback to the Reporting Officer.
  • Should email his daily Action Plan Report to his reporting authority.
  • All Branch visits should be recorded in the prescribed monthly visit Report and signature of the Branch Manager with signature, name and seal of the Branch should be obtained. This monthly report should be completed in all respects and  should be submitted to his Reporting Authority duly recommended by MFIN Regional Manager well in time.
  • He /she will be under the administrative control of the head of the Office to which he/she is posted and will be under control of your respective reporting Officers at Regional Office/ Corporate Office/ Head Office of Muthoot Securities Ltd. for business development related activities.Should work under the guidance and support of the respective MFIN Regional Office to which you are attached, report there for duty before 9.00 A.M and record the attendance in time every day.
